Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training®
Rhythmic Movement Training is a method with a capacity to help children with motor, learning, attention problems and autism, and adults with a wide variety of complaints.
The success of the method in the individual case is dependent on instructors and consultants having a thorough practical experience and theoretical understanding of the method. In order to preserve the good reputation of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training, Dr. Harald Blomberg has decided on the following requirements for becoming a Consultant or Instructor of BRMT.
Consultants and Instructors need to pay a yearly fee to the local BRMT Distributor and are entitled to advertise on the website of the local distributor.
BRMT Consultant Requirements
The curriculum requirement is to attend 6 courses; four required courses and two elective which students can choose according to their interests, regional class offerings and vocational orientation.
- Have a working knowledge of development – for example as a preschool- Waldorf- or Montessori-teacher, Brain Gym instructor, parent etc. or have experience of working with clients as a chiropractor, osteopath, PT, OT, SLP, kinesiologist, massage therapist, counselor, psychologist, nurse, lactation consultant etc.
- Attend BRMT Level 1: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training and Primitive Reflexes, at least once.
- Attend BRMT Level 2: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training, Emotions and Inner Leadership, the Limbic System, at least once.
- Attend BRMT Level 3: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training and Reflexes in Dyslexia, Reading and Writing Difficulties, at least once.
- Attend Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Sustainable Health, part 1 – Root Causes of Chronic Inflammation and their Impact on Reflex Integration*, at least once.
* Former Blomberg Rhytmic Movement Training and Diet in Autism, ADHD and other challanges. - Attend two additional courses you can choose from the following ones:
- Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training in Kindergarten.
- Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training, Dreams, Creativity and Inner Healing.
- Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Pain Management in Adults, part 2.
- Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Exeptional Children.
- Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Sustainable Health, part 2 – Strategies to Support Individuals with Chronic Inflammation.
- If these are not available you can also choose to repeat one or more of Level 1, 2 or 3.
- Write 4 case studies of clients you have followed at least 6 months, one of which on yourself, according to Case Study Format.
- Theoretical test – have successfully completed the written tests for Level 1, 2 and 3.
- Practical test.
- Sign an agreement with the local BRMT Distributor.

Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 Instructor:
To become an instructor of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 you need to:
- Be invited by a Mentor to continue your training.
- Be a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Consultant.
- Attend BRMT Level 1: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training and Primitive Reflexes, at least twice through the training process.
- Attend BRMT Level 2: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training, Emotions and Inner Leadership, the Limbic System, at least twice through the training process.
- Attend BRMT Level 3: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training and Reflexes in Dyslexia, Reading and Writing Difficulties, at least twice through the training process.
- Attend Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Sustainable Health, part 1, at least twice through out the training process. .
- Attend Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 In-Depth at least once.
- Write 2 additional case studies on clients you have followed for at least 6 months according to Case Study Format.
- Additional you have 2 options:
Either:
- Pass Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 Teachers Practicum and then be invited to
- co-teach Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 at least twice with another BRMT Instructor in training.
Or:
- Be invited to teach BRMT Level 1 with another BRMT Instructor in training and
- to be observed teaching BRMT Level 1 by another BRMT Instructor
And finally you have to:
- Sign an agreement with Harald Blomberg and the local BRMT Distributor.
Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 Instructor
If you want to become an instructor of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 you need to:
- Be an instructor of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1.
- Be invited by a Mentor to continue your training.
- Teach Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 at least 4 times to a minimum of 30 students.
- Attend BRMT Level 2: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Emotions and Inner Leadership, the Limbic system, at least three times through the training process.
- Attend Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training, Dreams, Creativity and Inner Healing, at least once through the training process.
- Attend Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 in Depth, at least once.
- Write 2 additional case reports over a minimum of 6 months observation period. Two of the case studies should include dealing with the Moro and Fear Paralysis reflex or with children or adults who have emotional reactions to the training, using the Case Study Format.
- Additional you have 2 options:
Either:
- Pass Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 Teachers Practicum and then be invited to
- co-teach Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 at least twice with another BRMT Instructor in training.
Or:
- Be invited to teach BRMT Level 2 with another BRMT Instructor in training and
- to be observed teaching BRMT Level 2 by another BRMT Instructor
And finally you have to:
- Sign an agreement with Harald Blomberg and the local BRMT Distributor.
Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 3 Instructor
To become an instructor of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 3 you need to:
- Be an instructor of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 1 and Level 2.
- Be invited by a Mentor to continue your training.
- Teach Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 2 at least 4 times to a minimum of 30 students.
- Attend BRMT Level 3: Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training and Reflexes in Dyslexia, Reading and Writing Difficulties, altogether at least three times.
- Attend Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 3 In-Depth at least once.
- Write 2 additional case reports about clients with reading/writing/vision difficulties observed over a period of 6 months or more, using the Case Study Format.
- Additional you have 2 options:
Either:
- Pass Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 3 Teachers Practicum and then be invited to
- co-teach Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Level 3 at least twice with another BRMT Instructor in training.
Or:
- Be invited to teach BRMT Level 3 with another BRMT Instructor in training and
- to be observed teaching by another BRMT Instructor
And finally you have to:
- Sign an agreement with Harald Blomberg and the local distributor of Blomberg RMT.
Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Instructor of BRMT in Kindergarden
- Be a BRMT Level 1 and 2 Instructor.
- Attend BRMT in Kindergarden at least twice.
Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Instructor in BRMT and Pain in Adults, part 1
- Be a BRMT Level 1 and 2 Instructor.
- Attend BRMT and Pain part 1 and 2 at least once through the training process.
Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Instructor in BRMT and Pain in Adults, part 2
- Be a BRMT Level 1, 2, 3 and Pain part 1 Instructor.
- Attend BRMT and Pain in Adults part 2 at least twice trough the taining process.
Requirements to become a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Sustainable Health, Dreams, Exeptional Children, CP Course Instructor.
- On invitation from your BlombergRMT Distributor and Harald Blomberg AB
